Frequently Asked Questions

Ok…so I’ve registered for my subscription, when should I expect the first delivery?

MONTHLY: If you opt for a Monday delivery, each month your subscription will be delivered on the second Monday of the month. If you opt for Thursday delivery, each month your subscription will be delivered on the fourth Thursday of each month. If it is past that point in the month, next month will be your first delivery. Please contact us if you have special requests.

WEEKLY: You will be asked to choose your preferred start month. Generally, a weekly delivery will begin the next week after your order has been placed. Please contact us if you have special requests.

Where does the delivery range extend to?

For Floral Sake is a local, studio florist in Duluth, MN; we are able to accommodate local deliveries. Local can be defined as Duluth and surrounding (nearby) areas. Generally, deliveries can be made within a 15-mile radius of Duluth, MN at no additional charge. Outside the delivery radius, is subject to an additional delivery cost.

Can I mix and match floral & plant within a subscription?

We don’t currently have a mix-and-match program set up for both flowers and plants but have accommodated these requests. Contact us, if interested.

If the subscription is a gift for someone, can I include a card message?

Absolutely! When signing up for a subscription gift, you will be asked to fill out a form where a card message can be added. This card message will be displayed on all subscription gifts for the allotted frequency unless you note a specific, customized message for each month.

Am I allowed to choose the delivery date?

Deliveries are generally made on the second Monday of each month or the fourth Thursday of each month. (But are subject to change due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances. You or the recipient will be contacted prior to the delivery). Specific delivery dates are upon request and subject to availability.

Will my card be charged per month or the full amount when I purchase?

Your card will be charged the full amount at the time of purchase. However, we are able to set up a recurring and autopayment with an online invoice system. Contact us if you would like to enroll.

Do I get to choose the flowers that come with my subscription?

Our designers at For Floral Sake choose the freshest flowers in season. Because seasonality and local preference is a major consideration, some modifications can be difficult to accommodate. However, when registering for your subscription, please note any allergies for you / the recipient. Additionally, it’s important to note any pets because not all bouquets are pet-friendly.

Can I send my subscription to multiple locations?

At this time, we are only able to accommodate one location per subscription. Please contact us for special requests.

If I am gifting the subscription to someone in the future (upcoming weeks/months), do you have a certificate or confirmation, so they know that the subscription is coming?

Yes, we are able to send a certificate in the mail or via email (whichever you prefer). You just have to provide the email or mailing address on the form when completing your order. NOTE: If it is not indicated who the certificate is to be sent, it will be delivered with the first subscription.
